 Davenport is one of Central Florida's little-known gems. Called the Gateway to the Ridge, Davenport is situated at approximately the mid-point between the Atlantic and Gulf coasts. It is located at the intersection of Interstate 4 and US 27, only 7 miles to the World Drive exit for Disney. This area has a distinct rural flavor, but doesn't lack for conveniences. Sure it has supermarkets, gas stations, and quick-service dining, but you will also find shopping and restaurants at Posner Center, where future plans include entertainment venues, lodging, and more.
